Scarlet's End

Scarlet was an outcast. A shut-in. She knew for a fact that no one would truly accept her for who she was. Therefore, she decided she wanted to end it all.

However, she didn't want her body to be discovered, rather she wanted to disappear. That's when she remembered the nearby swamp just a few miles down the road. It was off limits because of quicksand related tragedies. It was perfect, she thought. So she left a vague goodbye note on her bed and headed off.

Scarlet soon arrived at the swamp and ventured deep, finding the perfect spot. She made her way through the sludge and rotting vegetation up to the point she was thigh deep and could hardly move. As she began to slip under, she removed her right glove and laid it on the surface as she awaited her demise...
